2024 FIAP World Photographers Conference opens in Lishui

The opening ceremony and keynote conference of the 2024 FIAP (The International Federation of Photographic Art) World Photographers Conference was held at the Lishui Grand Theatre, Zhejiang province, on Oct 10.

"The main mission of FIAP is to promote and develop photographic knowledge worldwide on artistic, educational, and scientific levels, in agreement with the principles of the UNESCO. We also aim to build trust among people to strengthen friendly relations among all member federations," said Riccardo Busi, president of FIAP.

“国际摄联成立于1950年，成员遍布五大洲119个国家，代表着全世界200多万专业和业余摄影师的利益，是唯一一个被联合国教科文组织承认的国际性摄影组织。我们致力于通过摄影文化交流，为世界各国摄影家提供作品创作、学术研究、展览展示的国际性平台。”FIAP主席里卡尔多·布西（Riccardo Busi）在大会上说，“希望各国摄影艺术家携起手来，进一步推动全球摄影艺术创作、教育研究、科技应用发展进步。”

With the theme of "Transcending Boundaries: Technologies and New Photography", this year's event aims to accelerate the development of Lishui as an international renowned city for photography and establish a diverse, friendly, developmental, and promotional international cultural exchange platform. Photographers from home and abroad will conduct a photo shooting journey in Liandu, Songyang, Yunhe, Jingning, Longquan, and other regions from Oct 11 to 13.

本届大会以“跨越边界、影像重生”为主题，旨在加快推进丽水国际摄影名城建设，创建多元、友好、发展、促进的国际文化交流平台。10月11日至10月13日，来自国内外的摄影师将前往莲都、松阳、云和、景宁、龙泉等地，进行光影丽水采风创作活动。
